Here are some classes to get you by until it warms up!
Quilting -101
This class will cover the quilt making from the very beginning. You will learn to cut with a rotary cutter, sew with exact ¼” seams, how to make and arrange your blocks to complete the quilt. We will also cover putting on borders. This is a great class to take if have not made a quilt or just made small project. Our Pattern is called Hop, Skip and Jump. It is a new Triple Expresso pattern that has 3 quilts in one pattern. You decide when your blocks are done which version to make. Stop in to see the sample and pick up your supply list

Block of the Month – Heart and Home Quilt
This beautiful Quilt of the Month is made with 2 ½” strips. The cutting is all done for you so you can get right to the fun part, making the design come to life. This will be completed in 6 months and you will be ready to enjoy your quilt, or give as a gift.
$5 month Feb – July.

Block of the Month – Table Runner of the Month
Join our Table runner of the month club and receive the pattern and material for 1 table runner each month for 12 months. They are all a variety of sizes and patterns, made just for each month. It includes top binding and backing. If you don’t like our fabric choice for a certain month, give as a gift and make one for you with your own fabric.
$20 month Feb. 2011 – Jan 2012.

Friday Night/Day Out
Open to sewers, knitters and crafters! Bring any unfinished project and join us for a night/or day of uninterrupted sewing or crafting. Complete your projects in no time. We will be there to help if you need it. The 1st Friday of the month. Bring a beverage, snacks will be provided. Register by the Thursday before each class.

The Mia Top
Your daughters will love this top all year long. Learn how to do shirring on the bodice for that boutique look. Works best with a serger or machine that can do a rolled hem. (you can use just a regular machine) Bring a sack lunch or plan to make a subway run.

Addie Jo Skirt
Have you seen the cute skirts for girls, but thought you could never make one? Join us for this class of the Addie Jo Skirt. You will see how easy it is to make in one night. Choose from one of the 5 varieties of skirts. Stop in to see the samples and choose which one you like the best.

Turning 20 Quilt
If you are ready to try a larger quilt or if you have made smaller projects, but not a large quilt, this is the class for you. We will be cutting and sewing all day and should complete or almost complete the quilt by the end of the day. Please bring a sack lunch and beverage for lunch, or plan on making a run to subway. You just need 20 Fat Quarters, stop in to see our sample and choose your fabric.

Binding Class
Learn how to put a binding on your quilt. We will teach you how cut, join, press and sew your binding on to make that great looking mitered corner. Bring in your own project, or ask for one of our donations quilts for you to bind.

Mini Bow Tucks Bag
This is our most requested class, so we are offering it again. See how easy it is to make this bag, whether it is your 1st or 15th bag. Make the Mini or regular Bow Tucks. Stop in to see our new sample. Use one of our kits, or choose your own material.

Hot Cakes Potholder
You will love this potholder that looks like a cupcake. It is made with 2 Fat Quarters, it is quick and easy and very functional. Finish it in one night. You will love them so much you will want to make more. Finished size 10” x 8”

Rag Time Quilt
This is a great first time project. You will be learning to cut and quilt the squares as you go. Then we will put together and wash.....no binding needed. Stop into the shop to see the sample and you can use one of our kits, or choose your own fabric.

Craft/Sewing Day Retreat
Join us for an all day and evening retreat. Leave your cleaning and cooking at home and just bring your project to work on. Bring your own beverage, the meals will be provided along with some snacks to keep your strength up. Bring your own project or ask for one of our retreat projects.

Make this cute Pocket Purse by Lazy Girl Designs. Size: 9” x 10 ¼” x 1” So fast and easy you should be able to complete in 1 night. Stop in the shop to see our sample. We have kits available, or choose your own fabric.

Block of the Month – Goulash
This large quilt will also be done in 6 months. It is a great quilt that uses the bear paw pattern. Stop in to see the sample and sign up (Limited number available) Finishing kit will also be available for purchase. You will receive the pattern when signing up. Quilt size 84” x 108 1/2”

Bohemian Bag
This bag is one of the new bags from Lila Tueller Designs. It has a rag look to it and is a little more time consuming but well worth it in the end. Size 8 ½” high x 16” wide x 5” deep. Stop in to see our new sample. Use one of our kits, or choose your own material.

T-Shirt Quilt
Put together a t-shirt quilt with all those t-shirts your kids have collected. The first meeting we will be cutting and planning your quilt, then return and put it together.

Long Arm Certification Class
Learn to use the long arm machine and finish your own quilts on it. Take the one on one class and then you are able to rent out the machine. We will give you a practice quilt to give a try and learn how to use.
