Craft/Sewing Day Retreat
Join us for an all day and evening retreat. Leave your cleaning and cooking at home and just bring your project to work on. Bring your own beverage, the meals will be provided along with some snacks to keep your strength up. Bring your own project or ask for one of our retreat projects.

T-Shirt Quilt
Put together a t-shirt quilt with all those t-shirts your kids have collected. The first meeting we will be cutting and planning your quilt, then return on Sat and put it together. Bring a sack lunch & beverage or we will make a subway run for you.

Have you always wanted to make a purse or bag, but were afraid of the zipper? No more! Learn an easy way to put a zipper in a bag or purse. Learn how to put a binding on your quilt. We will teach you how cut, join, press and sew your binding on to make that great looking mitered corner. Bring in your own project, or ask for one of our donations quilts for you to bind.

This class will cover the quilt making from the very beginning. You will learn to cut with a rotary cutter, sew with exact ¼” seams, how to make and arrange your blocks to complete the quilt. We will also cover putting on borders. This is a great class to take if have not made a quilt or just made small project. Our Pattern is called Hop, Skip and Jump. It is a new Triple Expresso pattern that has 3 quilts in one pattern. You decide when your blocks are done which version to make. Stop in to see the sample and pick up your supply list

The Classroom is getting closer to completion!
As you all know by now, we are working on a new classroom at Quilter's Dream. The cupboards are in, just waiting for the appliances & then we will be 100% ready to quilt, eat & enjoy! Of course, not having it finished didn't stop us from using the new room. Check out the pictures from our Mystery Quilt weekend with Jennie & Gail!

March Already?!?!?!?!?
Where has the time gone? Seems like just yesterday we were ringing in the New Year and now March is knocking on our door step! A new month is the perfect time to start a new hobby or project, check out what we have going on this month at Quilter's Dream!
Intermediate Knitting
Now that you have beginning knitting under your belt, you are ready to advance to the next step. In Intermediate Knitting you will learn how to read and follow patterns so you can complete that beautiful shawl for your mom for mother's day or get the blanket done for that special graduate. The class is Tuesday March 2nd & 9th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Class fee is $12. Sign up today- class size is limited!
Friday Day/Night Out
Winter wearing on you? Why not get out for a refreshing night of friends, fun and sewing! Join us for Friday Day/Night out on March 5th & 19th. The Day Out goes from 1:00pm to 5:00pm . . . that doesn't work for you, try the Night Out from 6:30pm to 10:30pm. Bring your projects and a beverage & we will have some snacks to keep you going. Are you sick and tired of paying way to much for hats and gloves that fall apart? Why not make them yourself? Learn to Crochet will teach you the basic stitches and have you well on your way to a beautiful scarf to keep you warm for the cold month of March! Join us on March 13 & 20th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. The class costs $10.

Long Arm Certification Classes Are Available
Ever wanted to long arm your own quilts? We have just the class for you! Learn to use our long arm machine and finish your own quilts on it. Take the one on one class (2 1/2 hour session) and then you are able to rent out the machine. We will provide a practice quilt for your to learn on. The cost is $60. Simply call the shop to set up your appointment!

Quilting 101
This class will cover the quilt making process from the very beginning. You will learn to cut with a rotary cutter, sew with exact 1/4" seams, how to make and arrange your blocks to complete the quilt. We will also cover putting on borders. This is a great class to take if you have not made a quilt or just made a small project. Our pattern is called Hop, Skip and Jump. It is a new Triple Expresso pattern that has 3 quilts in one pattern! You decide which version to make. Stop in to see the sample and pick up your supply list.

Basic Sewing
Lean to use a sewing machine. You will learn to thread your machine, winding a bobbin and sew with your own machine. You will cute and sew a simple project that you can complete in class. Sewing machines are available if needed. However, you may want to learn on the machine you will be sewing at home with.

Donate Fabric
We will again be accepting donation fabrics to give to our area groups (3 of them) to make quilts with. Please drop off you fabric between January 25th and 30th. We will weight it and whatever it weights, you will get that discount in the store for that day (up to 30%). We appreciate your donations. The groups make good use of the material.

Take this class to see how easy it is to make an appliques wall hanging for your door or window. I have a variety of patterns to choose from the Patch Abilities line. Finished size is 6" x 22". Stop in to see our samples and choose the one you like best. We have kits available for some of the patterns, or use up your own scraps.
