March Already?!?!?!?!?

Where has the time gone?  Seems like just yesterday we were ringing in the New Year and now March is knocking on our door step!  A new month is the perfect time to start a new hobby or project, check out what we have going on this month at Quilter's Dream!

Intermediate Knitting
Now that you have beginning knitting under your belt, you are ready to advance to the next step.  In Intermediate Knitting you will learn how to read and follow patterns so you can complete that beautiful shawl for your mom for mother's day or get the blanket done for that special graduate.  The class is Tuesday March 2nd & 9th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.  Class fee is $12.  Sign up today- class size is limited!

Friday Day/Night Out
Winter wearing on you?  Why not get out for a refreshing night of friends, fun and sewing! Join us for Friday Day/Night out on March 5th & 19th.  The Day Out goes from 1:00pm to 5:00pm . . . that doesn't work for you, try the Night Out from 6:30pm to 10:30pm.  Bring your projects and a beverage & we will have some snacks to keep you going.  Grab some friends and sign up today!

Table Runner of the Month
Looking for a quick project?  Why not make a table runner?  It is simple & you can get a good start on it on Wednesday, March 10th from 6:30pm to 9:00pm.  The table runner for March is Garden Trellis, check it out!

Craft/Sewing Day Retreat
If you missed the last two, here is another chance to sew your day away!  The fun begins Saturday, March 13th at 9:00am and goes until 10:00pm.  Just think of everything you can get done!  Bring your own beverage & we will provide meals and snacks to keep you going.  This will take place in our NEW class room!  Grab some friends and sign up today!

Learn to Crochet
Are you sick and tired of paying way to much for hats and gloves that fall apart?  Why not make them yourself?  Learn to Crochet will teach you the basic stitches and have you well on your way to a beautiful scarf to keep you warm for the cold month of March!  Join us on March 13 & 20th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.  The class costs $10.

Friday Night Out!
Forget the stresses of the week & spend the night sewing with friends.  Don't sew?  Bring in any other project & get it finished before the weather warms up!  Friday Night Outs are held the 1st & 3rd Friday of every month, so start marking your calendar now!

Super Bowl Sewing - CANCELLED do to remodel 
Looking for something to do on Super Bowl Sunday?  Why not come down to Quilter's Dream & sew?  We will be available to help you with your projects.  This is a great way to get things done without all the interruptions of home quilting!  Soup, sandwiches & dessert will be provided along with some snacks- because what Super Bowl Sunday is complete without the snacks!

T-Shirt Quilt

Hand Quilting
Learn the techniques of hand quilting. We will show you the tricks and get you started on your way to completing your quilt. Bring your own project or let us know if you need a donation project to quilt on.

Binding Class
Your quilt is pieced, quilted and now you are stuck . . . not anymore.  Learn the art of binding a quilt and the secret to perfectly mitered edges.  Bring in your own project, or use one of our donation quilts.

Mystery Quilt Weekend
Join us for a weeknd of sewing a mystery quilt. Friday we will cut and begin our first few steps. Then return on Saturday to continue sewing and watch the mystery unfold before your eyes! Stop by to pick up your supply list. Bring a sack lunch and beverage, or we will make a subway run for you!  Snacks will be provided.

Retreat Day
Get the group together & come for a productive day of getting projects completed.  Don't have anything to complete, start something new!  Bring a beverage of your choice & let us do the cooking.  It is sure to be a great day of friends & fun!
